I wonder how Roger would feel about producing a new version of the song – partially based upon samples taken from the original, partially using somewhat re-thought pieces, and featuring a whole new set of lyrics meant to reflect on the current state of things in our society in general rather than focused on the music industry specifically. Something like another “post-Orwellian view of a pre-Orwellian world” would seem to be timely.

At the beginning of Tarkovsky’s “The Sacrifice” the main character suggests that “a method … has its virtues … if every single day … one were to perform the same single act, like a ritual, unchanging, systematic … the world would be changed … something would change …it would have to”.

i heard Roger didn’t really like Trump. not surprising – “as above so below” never sounded so ominous as it does with Donald “We Shall Overcomb”. however, Jesse Ventura, who seems to be a bit more consistent in his actions than Roger and certainly has a considerably better grasp of politics, has been friends with Trump for many years ...anyways, didn’t hear anything about this WTTM thing yet
